No. 6 Simeon ended Whitney Young's season Friday night, leaving the matter of where to slot in Tyrone Slaughter's squad a difficult one. The Dolphins played 11 games against teams that were ranked nationally at some point in the season by MaxPreps, going 8-3. Whitney Young beat an outstanding Long Beach Poly team by 33 at the Spalding Hoophall Classic, won the Beach Ball Classic in South Carolina and went 2-1 at the City of Palms Classic with a close loss to eventual champ Montverde Academy (Fla.).
