Rossville entered their tilt with Wabaunsee on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Chargers, posting a 49-6 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2024.

Rossville had a senior duo take command as Canann Mitchell rushed for 66 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only seven carries and Conner Bush rushed for 108 yards and two scores on only eight carries. Bush didn't just play on offense: he also made nine total tackles and defended three passes. Another player making a difference was Landen Lewis, who rushed for 66 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

Rossville was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 289 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 250 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

Rossville's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Wabaunsee, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
