The St. Francis Knights were the 14-0 winner over the Whitefield Academy WolfPack when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. St. Francis was outmatched by Whitefield Academy at home and fell 43-7. The last quarter was a mere formality, since the game's final score was reached by the end of the third quarter.
Mack Town threw for 79 yards and a touchdown. Taurean Rawlins was his top target, picking up 35 receiving yards and no touchdowns. On the ground, Trip Rung picked up seven receiving yards and no touchdowns.
Whitefield Academy was led to victory by Callum Neese and Mason Hollingsworth. Neese threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, while Hollingsworth rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Hollingsworth was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 52 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Logan, who picked up 162 receiving yards.
St. Francis' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Whitefield Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
St. Francis does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Whitefield Academy is also done with their season.
