San Jacinto Valley Academy came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 15-7 to Hemet. The Wolves' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Carter Kelly was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Canon Fletcher was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Desert Christian Academy had just enough and edged out Hamilton 13-12 on Wednesday.
Desert Christian Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Christian Adamson, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits Adamson has posted since back in March. Another was Jesse Snellenberger, who went 1-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Desert Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .406. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hamilton only posted a batting average of .250.
San Jacinto Valley Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-9. As for Desert Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. San Jacinto Valley Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Desert Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
