Chugiak faced Eagle River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mustangs never let the Wolves get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. Considering the Mustangs have won 11 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Cole Lux was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up a single hit in nine consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
