The Jamestown Muskies lost against the Farrell Steelers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Jamestown had to suffer through a rough 51-15 loss at the hands of Farrell. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jamestown has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Jamestown saw an underclassman step up: Alayna Cadman scored nine points. That was a full 60% of Jamestown's points, marking the eighth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Jamestown has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Farrell, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jamestown will take on Youngsville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Farrell, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Mercer at 7:30 p.m. Mercer's defense has only allowed 26.5 points per game this season, so Farrell's offense will have their work cut out for them.
