Elliott Schwartz was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double on 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 steals for John Adams Academy. The match was Schwartz's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Norah Barmby was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 10 points and 12 rebounds.
Rio Vista's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for John Adams Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.
Rio Vista will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lindhurst at 6:00 p.m. As for John Adams Academy, they will face off against Valley at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Valley is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
