The West Shores Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets at 3:15 p.m. West Shores will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
Last Tuesday, West Shores' game was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. Everything went their way against Vincent Memorial as West Shores made off with a 5-2 win.
Meanwhile, Palo Verde Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Holtville by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 goals in the game before, Palo Verde Valley couldn't push the score so high this time.
West Shores has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-13 record this season. As for Palo Verde Valley, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-11-1.
West Shores might still be hurting after the 12-1 loss they got from Palo Verde Valley in their previous meeting back in January. The match was all but decided by halftime, at which point West Shores was down 7-0.
