The Warren Bears's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-30 loss at the hands of Downey. Warren was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-8.
Symantha Barnett continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Downey, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. Barnett continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Vaughn, who scored 14 points along with five steals.
Warren has traveled a rocky road recently having lost ten of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Downey, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season.
Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Downey also has no future games currently scheduled.
