Isle have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Wrenshall on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Isle will be hoping to build upon the 26-8 win they picked up against Wrenshall the last time they played.
Isle have to be aching after a bruising 18-39 defeat to South Ridge three weeks ago.
Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Carlton in their previous matchup, Wrenshall were happy to find some success last week. Wrenshall took the game and then some with a 42-0 win over Onamia. Wrenshall were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Wrenshall's victory lifted them to 1-2 while Isle's loss dropped them down to 0-3. We'll see if Wrenshall's success rolls on or if Isle are able to steal their positive momentum.
