Rancho Alamitos suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Loara 65-22. While losing is never fun, Rancho Alamitos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1141st, while Loara is ranked 556th).
Los Amigos has not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Rancho Alamitos, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-16.
