It was a good run, but the Rialto Knights unfortunately witnessed the end of their 11-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost to Mark Keppel at home by a decisive 66-52 margin.
Despite the loss, Rialto still got an impressive performance from Carrington Davis, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten rebounds. Davis scored a full 61.5% of Rialto's points, the 17th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Destiny Rabino, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Rialto's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-2. As for Mark Keppel, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
Rialto's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Summit at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Summit will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 341st, while Rialto is ranked 70th). As for Mark Keppel, they will head out on the road to face off against Schurr at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
