After a string of four wins, Lund's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Owyhee Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-17, 19-25, 25-12.
KAYLEE GRIFFIN paced Lund's offense, picking up nine kills. GRIFFIN got some help from GENEVIEVE CARTER and her 13 assists. BAILEY CARTER controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Lund's loss dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Owyhee, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.
