Basketball Recap: Weston Eubanks Key Part of a Team Effort in Stallions Win

There's no place like home for Shadow Ridge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They strolled past the Tolleson Wolverines with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 64-46. For the Stallions, this counts as revenge for the 57-55 victory the Wolverines walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Shadow Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Weston Eubanks, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Eubanks a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Marshawn McCullum, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 14 points and eight rebounds.

Shadow Ridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tolleson only pulled down six offensive rebounds.

Tolleson lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Johnny Rogers, who went 7 of 17 en route to 16 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Mikey Dauphin was another key player, going 6 for 11 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

Shadow Ridge's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Tolleson, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Shadow Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 69-41 defeat against Chandler on the 17th. Tolleson has also already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against San Luis on the 17th.
