After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wellington, Roosevelt was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Mountain View Mountain Lions with a sharp 21-0 victory. Considering the Roughriders have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Lexi Arave was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Arave was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August.
In other batting news, Jaylynn Yebra was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in August.
