The Forest Hills Rangers will head out on the road to face off against the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Forest Hills is looking to tack on another W to their ten-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
On Wednesday, Forest Hills beat Greater Latrobe 52-45. Given Forest Hills' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while Greater Latrobe is ranked 178th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Forest Hills' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Arissa Britt, who scored 13 points along with six assists. Alexis Henderson was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Meanwhile, Bellwood-Antis was able to grind out a solid win over Central on Wednesday, taking the game 42-35. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Bellwood-Antis.
Forest Hills has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Bellwood-Antis, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
Forest Hills didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Bellwood-Antis in their previous matchup back in December of 2016, but they still walked away with a 67-61 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Bellwood-Antis' Karson Swogger, who scored 30 points along with four steals. Now that she won't be playing on Friday, will it be that much easier for Forest Hills to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
