The Appling County Pirates will venture away from home to challenge the Toombs County Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Appling County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.

Appling County's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Cook with a sharp 9-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Meanwhile, Toombs County put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against Southeast Bulloch. The Bulldogs' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four matches.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Osvaldo Tinoco, who's now up to three this season.

Appling County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three games. As for Toombs County, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.

Appling County came up short against Toombs County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, falling 3-1. Can Appling County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
