Tri County Northeast's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Rhyanne Mackling, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds, and Briley Anderson who scored nine points along with five rebounds. Mackling hasn't dropped below three steals for 12 straight games.
Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 28-28 at halftime, Creighton was not quite the Indians' equal in the second half on Tuesday. Creighton fell 51-38 to the Indians.
Tri County Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Creighton, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
