If Papillion-LaVista South was riding high  fresh off their  13-4 takedown of Bellevue West on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Titans took  a  9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norfolk Panthers on Wednesday.   Emersyn Exner and  Chyler Hoke did some serious damage despite the final result:  Exner  went a perfect 3-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI, while  Hoke  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ysa Rodriguez, who  got on base  in two of her three plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs.

 Papillion-LaVista South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  a  15-1  victory against South Sioux City on the 8th. As for Norfolk, they will be taking part in a tournament against Lincoln Southwest  at 1:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Silver Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.6  runs per game this season.
