Millard North extended their postseason success on Thursday against Elkhorn South. They blew past the Storm 14-6. Considering the Mustangs have won 27 matchups by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Jayda Juarez was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Macey Jarose, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
Millard North always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elkhorn South only posted an OBP of .429.
The victory (which was Millard North's 13th in a row) raised their record to 35-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Elkhorn South, their loss dropped their record down to 25-14.
