The Seaford Bluejays put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 53-47 W over Wilmington Friends. That's another feather in the cap for Seaford, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Kashmier Wise was his usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Vincent Evans, who scored 11 points along with three steals.
Seaford pushed their record up to 12-0 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 81.9 points per game. As for Wilmington Friends, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seaford will face off against Lake Forest at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Forest is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Wilmington Friends, they will head out on the road to take on DuPont at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. DuPont is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.
