Carlisle never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Gilbert on Tuesday. They blew past the Tigers 11-1. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 games by six runs or more this season.

Carlisle has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Gilbert, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-15 record this season.
