Sanford has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. The Sanford Warriors and the Elizabeth Minutemen will round out the year against one another at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at. Elizabeth took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Sanford, who comes in off a win.
Sanford scored the most points they've had all season to find success last Tuesday. They blew past Delcastle Technical, posting a 80-46 victory at home. That 80-46 margin sets a new team best for Sanford this season.
Jordan Spencer continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with nine assists and eight rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Reeve Sysko, who went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 18 points and 1 assists.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth fought the good fight in their overtime game against Constitution on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 75-74 to the Generals. Elizabeth's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Sanford's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Elizabeth, their loss dropped their record down to 4-1.
