Shawnee Mission East took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They skirted past the Olathe Northwest Ravens 31-28. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Jack Reeves was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 183 yards and one score while picking up 11.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 106 yards and one touchdown on only ten passes.
