Boyd had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They claimed a resounding 57-6 win over the Howe Bulldogs. Hunter Etter went supernova, picking up 79 receiving yards and two TDs. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 71 yards.

Despite the loss, Howe still got an impressive performance from Rylan Strong, who picked up 88 receiving yards and one score.
