In what's become a running theme this season, the Escondido Charter White Tigers gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Calvin Christian a 3-0 shutout. Escondido Charter's winning goal came courtesy of Teagen Hustead.
Escondido Charter has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Calvin Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10-1.
Escondido Charter will be playing in front of their home fans against Del Lago Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Calvin Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Orange Glen at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvin Christian's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for seven straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
