The Gregori Jaguars scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 70-25 victory over Modesto. Winning may never get old, but Gregori sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
Gregori found their leader in underclassman Lilly Staggs, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals. Staggs hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. Audrey Pacheco was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Gregori pushed their record up to 13-8 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Modesto, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Gregori will head out on the road to square off against Pitman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Pitman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Thursday. As for Modesto, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Turlock at 7:30 p.m.
