Barstow managed to slip by Burroughs the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Barstow Aztecs lost 10-3 to the Burroughs Burros on Friday. The Aztecs' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Barstow saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Micah Sheldon, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Those two RBI gave Sheldon a new career-high.

Barstow's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Burroughs, their record is now 8-2.

Coming up, Barstow will square off against Adelanto at 3:15 p.m. on March 21st. As for Burroughs, they will venture away from home to take on Hesperia at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Burroughs' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Hesperia's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
