Logan Mollenkopf was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Mollenkopf was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Brodie Howard was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was London Herd, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
Caston's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for South Newton, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-16.
As of now, neither Caston nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
