The York County Tech Spartans will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Kennard-Dale Rams at 7:30 p.m. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for York County Tech and four for the Rams.
Last Tuesday, York County Tech was the victim of a tough 52-29 defeat at the hands of the Knights.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Meaza Hower, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two steals. It was the first time this season that she pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kennard-Dale suffered a rough 59-37 loss at the hands of the Bobcats last Tuesday. Kennard-Dale was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-13.
York County Tech has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Kennard-Dale, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
