After a string of four wins, The St. Michael-Albertville Knights''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 28-21 to Mayo.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Kaydea, who rushed for 86 yards and a touchdown.
St. Michael-Albertville's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Mayo, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.
St. Michael-Albertville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mayo will face off against Stillwater at TBD on Friday. One thing working in Stillwater's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matchups.
