The Kaiser Cats will head out on the road to face off against the Eisenhower Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
Kaiser won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They suffered a tough 66-40 loss at the hands of Rialto. While losing is never fun, Kaiser can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 715th, while Rialto is ranked 66th).
Meanwhile, Eisenhower had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against Carter by a score of 44-31.
Eisenhower can attribute much of their success to Camiya Horton, who scored 11 points. Mauriaja Johnson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Kaiser has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. As for Eisenhower, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
Things could have been worse for Kaiser, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 52-37 loss to Eisenhower when the teams last played on Monday. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Eisenhower's Ti'Shay Dumas, who scored 26 points. Now that Kaiser knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time?
