The Windber Ramblers stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They breezed by Moshannon Valley on the road to the tune of 68-39. Given Windber's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while Moshannon Valley is ranked 734th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Evan Brady had an outrageously good game as he scored 25 points. He is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Grady Klosky was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Windber is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Moshannon Valley, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Windber will look to defend their home court on Friday against Portage at 7:15 p.m. Portage is coming into the match with four straight victories on the road, so Windber is out to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Moshannon Valley, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harmony Area at 7:15 p.m. on January 31st. Moshannon Valley is coming into the matchup with 17 straight defeats at home, meaning Harmony Area will have to defend against a team hungry for a victory.
