Chariho and West Warwick are an even 3-3 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Chargers will face off against the Wizards at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Chariho is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
Chariho is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: East Greenwich, who was ranked 23rd at the time (Chariho was ranked 21st). The Chargers were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Avengers on Monday.

Gavin Apice was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ethan Elderkin, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Chariho was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for West Warwick's offense. They fell just short of Prout by a score of 1-0 on Monday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wizards were not able to get on the board.
West Warwick saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Gallo, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.
West Warwick's loss dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Chariho, their victory bumped their record up to 11-8.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Chariho has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like West Warwick struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Chariho's way against West Warwick in their previous meeting back in May of 2022, as Chariho made off with a 19-3 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Chargers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
