As a matter of fact, that's the most points Horne has scored all season. Addison Blair was another key contributor, scoring five points along with three blocks.
Washington posted their biggest win yet this season last Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Carmichaels 56-18 at home. The win was just what Washington needed coming off of a 53-33 loss in their prior match.
Washington relied on the efforts of Olivia Woods, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds, and Kaprice Johnson, who scored 19 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Woods pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Taraysia Finley, who scored five points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Waynesburg Central's win bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Waynesburg Central hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 50.9 points per game. It's a different story for Washington, though, as they've been averaging only 43.6 points per game. The only thing between Waynesburg Central and another offensive beatdown is Washington. Will they be able to keep them contained?
