After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, LaFayette brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They put the hurt on the North Murray Mountaineers with a sharp 15-1 win on Monday. The Ramblers have beaten the Mountaineers the last eight times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mountaineers has come to flipping the script.

LaFayette's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for North Murray, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.

LaFayette will head out on the road to take on Trion at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Murray, they have already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on the 15th.
