Macomb lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Brown County, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Bombers never let the Hornets get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Bombers have won 13 contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Macomb's fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Brown County, their loss dropped their record down to 18-4-2.
