The Silverado Hawks can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Victor Valley 68-41 at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-12.
It was another big night for Elizabeth Udeze, who scored 27 points. She has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last 11 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Belinda Rincon, who scored nine points.
Silverado's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Victor Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-16.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silverado will take on Granite Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Granite Hills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Victor Valley, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Barstow at 6:00 p.m.
