Sasha S siemiller was the offensive standout of the matchup as she scored 20 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ashley Jimenez, who scored 1 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Despite the defeat, Chowchilla had strong showings from Molly Silva, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals, and Bella Gonsalves, who scored 4 points along with 11 steals. Silva is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Pacheco's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Chowchilla, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
Pacheco will square off against Patterson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Patterson is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Chowchilla, they will take on Lathrop at TBD on Friday. Lathrop presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Chowchilla in California (Lathrop is ranked 295th, while Chowchilla is ranked 920th).
