After low-scoring totals in their previous four contests, Coosa brought some dynamite into their most recent  matchup. They blew past the Therrell Panthers 11-1 on Monday. The Eagles' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most  runs they've scored all season.

 Ian Hulsey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Those  nine  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Charlie Cannon was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Austin Reece, who  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI and one  double.
 Coosa  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .528. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Coosa's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Therrell, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Coosa will have a chance to go back-to-back against Therrell: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday.
