The San Pasqual Academy Dragons lost against the West Shores Wildcats on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. San Pasqual Academy was dealt a 35-2 defeat at the hands of West Shores. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points San Pasqual Academy has scored all season.
It was another big night for Anastacia Garth, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds for West Shores. Garth is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last nine games she's played. Joana Cabrera was another key contributor, scoring two points along with seven rebounds and six steals.
San Pasqual Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Shores, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.
San Pasqual Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Coastal Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Shores, they will head out on the road to challenge Calexico Mission at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Calexico Mission comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
