 Not much got past  Brooklin Cromer, who gave up just  four  hits and racked up seven Ks to keep Twiggs Academy off the board. Cromer has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances.
The  victory made it two in a row for Fullington Academy and  bumps their season record up to 8-9. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 5  runs in those games. As for Twiggs Academy, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record  this season.
