As for Mountain View, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-9. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 4 runs in those games.
On Mountain View's side, Brennan Dooley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on three hits and racked up eight Ks. At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ethan Frehner, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Makaio Mo'Unga, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
