The Antioch Panthers posted their closest win yet this season on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Freedom 36-33. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Antioch.
Several Falcons players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Anisa Blalock, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Ariel De La O, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Antioch's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Freedom, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.
Antioch will head out on the road to challenge Pittsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Freedom, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. Heritage is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.5 points per game.
