Norristown is 0-10 against Spring-Ford since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Norristown Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Spring-Ford Rams at 6:45 p.m. Norristown will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 405th, while Spring-Ford is ranked 14th).
Last Friday, Norristown lost to Boyertown on the road by a decisive 51-33 margin. Norristown has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Spring-Ford can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Saturday. They really took it to Pope John Paul II for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-17 victory on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Spring-Ford has posted since December 15, 2023.
Spring-Ford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Anna Azzara out in front who scored ten points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie L Pettinelli, who scored four points along with eight assists and two steals.
Norristown has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Spring-Ford, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
Norristown was dealt a bruising 67-10 loss at the hands of Spring-Ford when the teams last played back in December of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Azzara, who scored 19 points along with six steals.
