In what's become a running theme this season, the Ramona Rams gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 58-9 win over La Sierra. Winning may never get old, but Ramona sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.
Ramona found their leader in underclassman Jaiden Tibbels, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Tibbels is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Diana Najera, who scored nine points along with four steals.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, La Sierra struggled to work together and finished the game with only three assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Ramona racked up 15 assists.
Ramona has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 16-10 record this season. As for La Sierra, they dropped their record down to 5-14 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.
Ramona will head out on the road to square off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for La Sierra, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
