Anaheim and Orange are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2016, but likely not for long. The Colonists will venture away from home to square off against the Panthers at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Anaheim has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Anaheim's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Saddleback, sneaking past 2-0. That's two games straight that the Colonists have won by exactly two runs.

Anaheim's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Maddox Gramajo, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Orange had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Matadors with a sharp 17-11 victory. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Braxton Nock was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andres Marin-Lopez, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles.

Orange kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive games.

Anaheim now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Orange, their record now sits at 7-5.

Anaheim came up short against Orange when the teams last played back in April of 2025, falling 11-7. Can the Colonists avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
