The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 16-7 margin over the Hornets. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won three contests by nine runs or more so far this season.
Schurz's win was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Mitchell Quiles, who got on base in five of his two plate appearances with one home run, one triple, and two RBI.
Quiles wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Schurz lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
