Cooper waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy by a score of 60-53. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-60 back in January.

Cooper's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was James Sneed, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 15 rebounds. Sneed is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 53% in the last seven games he's played. Ben Goodson also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Cooper smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in ten consecutive contests.

Jaiden Jackson and Jaxon Torres certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Jackson went 9-for-20 on his way to 23 points in addition to six assists and six steals, while Torres shot 55% from the field to rack up 26 points along with seven boards and three steals. That was a full 49.1% of Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row Torres has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ryan Hanke, who put up two points in addition to ten rebounds, three steals, and three blocks.

Cooper's record is now 17-7. As for Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-11.
