Scottsbluff took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 41-19 margin over the Northwest Vikings. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0.
Nate Kelley had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 162 yards and three TDs on only 12 carries, and also threw for 60 yards and one touchdown. Caleb Burda made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Scottsbluff was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 283 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 153 rushing yards in 12 consecutive games dating back to last season.
